About Me

Hi, I’m Adam. I’m a conversation designer, UX writer, and UX designer with a background as a literary agent and editor. The skills I honed in the book publishing industry are highly transferable to conversation design. I became adept at breaking down complex editorial projects, collaboratively iterating and improving on content, and building a coalition to support each project. Researching the market, editing and shaping the voice of characters, and drafting compelling pitch letters were key aspects of my work. The editorial process is deeply infused with empathy for the reader — a principle I carry into my conversation design work.

As a lawyer, I have experience negotiating contracts, advocating for clients, and mediating solutions, further strengthening my ability to communicate effectively and resolve issues. I have an avid curiosity about the world, and I’m excited to bring this broad skillset to conversation design.

In my free time, I enjoy woodworking and have recently started building guitars.
